Tai Chi is often described as a moving meditation, a hypnotic dance, a relaxing excercise system, a flowing natural movement and a powerful martial art. It is all of these and more. It is a system of personal growth that provides mental and physical exercise as well as discipline.
In Tai Chi, softness overcomes hardness and we call ourselves Players. The idea is that we often take ourselves too seriously. By applying the concept of active yielding, we can ease the stresses of our modern lives with pleasure and joy, and thus, find ourselves again.
